Rauch was established over 120 years ago by Wendelin Rauch who set up a small joinery that produced occasional furniture. He was joined by his son Otto who was appointed as CEO before his grandsons joined to help take the business to the next level. In 1953, Rauch products were shown at the International Furniture Show in Cologne for the first time and by 1963 the company employed over 600 members of staff.

Throughout their success, Rauch have stood by their commitment to being a sustainable business and even won the National German Sustainability Award 2014. Today, they are known as the ‘clever choice in furniture’ as they manage to build exceptionally high quality, stylish furniture whilst honouring their environmentally friendly ethos.

Rauch Steffen stands out from other bedroom furniture manufacturers, as the wardrobes start at just 160cm wide and grow in 20cm increments up to 400cm. This, along with the option to customise everything from the height, depth and angle means that you can design a free-standing wardrobe to fit almost anywhere.

Once you’ve decided on the spatial requirements of your wardrobe, you can get creative with the design. Rauch Steffen gives you the option of either sliding or hinged drawers and you can choose from 11 front designs and 15 front colours. The overall look is always slick and stylish, so designing something you love will be easy.

You can design the interior of your wardrobe to meet your exact storage requirements, whether that’s for a lot of shoes or you need plenty of hanging space.
